Clarification

Thanks so much to everyone who has called to talk about donating!

Apparently I'm not very clear

SO

If you use the "donate" button in the upper right hand corner

 that goes through PayPal

and PayPal subtracts an administration fee.

If you mail a check to

   Lifesong for Orphans
Att: Byers/ acct#34543
PO Box 40
Gridley, IL 61744
Please write “preference Byers/acct#3454” in the memo field

there is no administration fee taken out and the whole amount goes to Jude's account!

Clear as mud?

Blessed

We've been blessed

We travel to bring Jude home May 1st.

FINALLY!

We humbly request your prayers

Specifically for these things:

 -         That the rest of the paperwork will go smoothly
-         That our child will continue to be safe and well until we can get him home
-         That God work on his heart, preparing him for this huge upheaval in his life
-         That we travel safely
-         That once home, we continue to trust in God to knit us into a strong family unit that stands as a testimony to what God can and will do.
-         That the remainder of the funds will be raised

And on THAT note-

Lifesong for Orphans has approved our application

to accept donations on our behalf to help us bring Jude home!

 The donations will be tax-decuctible!

See the donate button in the upper righthand corner and CLICK!

if you'd like to contribute to bringing our boy home!

OR
Mail a check to:       Lifesong for Orphans
Att: Byers/ acct#3454
PO Box 40
Gridley, IL 61744
Please write “preference Byers/acct#3454” in the memo field

*Please note that Paypal charges a 1.9-2.9% service fee when using the Donate button. The amount received by Lifesong will be decreased by that amount.
*Also note: In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong which retains full discretion and control over its use.

If you mail a check, Lifesong does not charge an administraton fee and the entire amount goes to Jude's account.

Thank you!

What's coming....

We really don't know....what this will look like, that is.
Some things are to be expected.
Some things are probably the same questions that anyone who is adding a new family member through birth wonders.
 How will things change?
How will we all get along?
What will our new routine be?
Will this child sleep through the night?
 EVER?
(Owen has scarred us! :)
What kind of changes am I going to have to make to the current recipes to feed one more person?
OK, maybe I'm the only who wonders about that....
But there are some other things, things that are unique to children from hard places.
It's daunting, when I think of what Jude's been through in his life already.
We have to try to prepare for the worst, but hope for best.
And if you are reading this blog, there are some things you should know, too.
We want our friends and family to participate in our lives.
But things are going to be up in the air, initially.
And you are going to look at us and say, "huh?!?!"
So I'm linking to some blog posts written by people who know way more than me about this, in the hopes that you will take the time to read them, and understand a little, and love on us, and pray for us, as we embark on this journey....
